About Fairfolk Duo

Adding a touch of elegance to your special occasion

Nicole D'Oliveira

Nicole studied violin performance at the University of Cape Town under renowned violinist Prof. Farida Bacharova, earning both her Bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate Diploma with distinction. During her years in Cape Town, she performed regularly as an ad hoc member of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra and was a dedicated member of the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra violin section. With over 10 years of experience performing at weddings, particularly as part of a string quartet, Nicole now finds great joy in making music alongside her husband as part of the Fairfolk Duo. Her playing brings a graceful, expressive presence to every event.
